The Clinton County Historical Association presents a lecture series the first Monday of every month from April to December (except when Monday is a holiday). These lectures are free and open to all and are funded in part by Clinton County.

Upcoming Programs & Events for 2012

Saturday, March 31
Packbasket Workshop with Mick Jarvis of Adirondack Baskets and Heritage Designs
Weave a 17" or 21" tall basket of premium reed. For beginners as well as weaving "veterans."
All materials are included and all necessary tools are provided. Bring a snack or lunch for breaktime.
  Workshop cost: CCHA Members:
    $70.00 for 17" basket
    $85.00 for 21" basket
  Non-CCHA Members:
    $80.00 for 17" basket
    $100.00 for 21" basket

3rd Annual Holiday Shopping Night
Support local museums and find unique gifts at Clinton County Historical Association, Battle of Plattsburgh Association and Champlain Valley Trasportation Museum.CCHA is offering an extensive variety of books on the region's history for sale and is offering cider and cookies to shoppers and browsers.
CCHA is delighted to host a special guest for shopping night this year. Starting at 6 pm, writer and history buff Gordie Little will be reading and signing copies of his new children's book entitled "Little Champy Goes to School". Bring along the family and hear a fun tale from a local storytelling legend!

5-8 pm at the Plattsburgh Museum Campus.
